SIMPLE SOFT NAAN

Crispy outside, soft and chewy inside

Ingredients (A) 1/2 cup warm water, 1tsp instant yeast, 1 tsp sugar
Ingredients (B) 1 egg, 2 tbsp thick yoghurt, 2 tbsp oil
Ingredients (C) 180g bread flour 1/2 tsp salt
Method :
Ingredients (A) mix all together and set aside for 15mins until frothy.
Add in ingredients (B) mix well.
Add in ingredients (C). Mix well. Covered pot. set aside for 2-3 hours until risen.
Oil your hand and section the dough into 50g balls. Put them into a flour pot.
Flatten the dough with your palm (Do it over the sink)
Quickly put the dough into a thick based pre-heated frying pan and covered.
After a few minutes the dough will pop up, turn over other side and cooked.
Spread some butter over naan before serving.
Alternatively you can use oven grill to cook the top.
