HOMEMADE COTTAGE CHEESE











Ingredients :

2 cup of full cream fresh milk (if using low fat milk, not much cheese to collect)

2.5 tbsp of white vinegar

1/2 tsp of salt



Method
Heat up the milk in mircowave oven for one and a half min. just below boiling point.
Add in Vinegar and immediately you will see that the milk curdle.
Leave to cool before using fine sieve and drip well.
Add salt and stir well. Keep in container and serve chill.

Note :
For every 500ml of milk yields only est. 100g cheese.

Cream Cheese - do not drip too dry
Paneer cheese - Indian Style - Drip until very dry and can formed into cube cheese.
