Simple basil pesto

Taste Good !
Goes well with biscuits, white bread, smoked salmon wraps, pasta.....
Better than garlic butter spread

Ingredients :
20-30 leaves of basil from Cold Storage supermarket
1 tsp of toasted pine nuts - chopped
2 garlic - chopped
2 tbsp of paramesan cheese
1/2cup of olive oil

Method :
Rinse the basil leaf and wipe dry. Put everything into a blender/chopper and spin a few rounds.

Transfer into a small bowl and put into a microwave oven for 10 or 20sec. to bring out the aroma of basil leave.

Can be eaten immediately or Cool and keep in refrigerator. It keeps well for more than one week.

Note :
Traditionally eaten fresh without cooking but I felt that it taste better and can last longer.
Do not add salt as the cheese is quite saltish and the amount of garlic is personal preference.
