Ice Cream Making Using Thermal Pot


Put 2 or 3 trays of ice cubes into the thermal pot outer pot



Put 1/3 to half packet of salt, then add in 1/2 cups water



Put the inner pot over the ice.
Spin the inner pot to create friction against ice and salt to further decrease the temperature.


Pour in any ice cream mixture and let it sit for 5mins to let the bottom layer freeze then mix evenly



after 5-10mins.
Continue to spin the inner pot occasionally.


After 20 mins
Continue to spin occasionally



After 30 mins.
Ready to serve or keep in the freezer.
Note :
You can use two different depth, same size pot using the same method but the temperature is not as lasting as thermal pot.


BASIC VANILLA ICE CREAM

Ingredients :
1/2 cup plain yoghurt
1/2 cup whipping/heavy cream
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Method :
Mix together and put into the ice cream thermal pot to stir and freeze.

Note :
This preservative-free ice cream is so good that my kids finished before I can even keep some in the freezer.
