Green Pea Cookies



Ingredients :

125g green peas - unsalted

125g plain flour

65g icing sugar

1/tsp salt

1/2tsp baking powder

1/2tsp baking soda


85g peanut cooking oil

1tbsp black roasted sesame seed

1tbsp white roasted sesame seed


Glaze: 1 egg yolk

Topping : 1 whole pea


Method :

1) Grind the green pea into powder and sift it together with other dry ingredients.

2) Add in oil and mix into powdery dough.

3) Divide into 10g small ball then flatten it. Place on greased baking tin.

4) Glaze the top evenly with beaten egg yolk and topped with 1 whole green pea.

5) Baked in pre-heated oven 150Deg for 10-15mins.

6) Cool before packing. It taste better overnight.


Note :

Must glaze evenly with egg yolk if not turnout not nice looking.

Try using small round measuring spoon to shape the cookie.
