Hot Chocolate Fondant - Molten Cake - Lava Cake




Ingredients (A)


1block cooking chocolate bar - 125g


55g butter


100ml fresh milk

65g sugar



Ingredient (B) - 1 egg


Ingredient (C) - 65g plain flour, 1/2tsp baking powder






Method :


Put ingredient (A) in a small saucepan and over very low fire Mix it well till the chocolate is melted.Cool and leave aside for 15 mins.

Add in egg and mix well.

Add in ingredients (C) and blend well.

Prepare 4 small muffin or ramakin cups. Grease with butter and dust with plain flour. Tap away excess flour.

Pour in the chocolate mixture and bake in very hot oven (190-200deg) for 10 mins.

When it is done, remove from oven and overturn the cake onto a small plate and serve with vanilla ice cream.


Tips :

Do not over-baked or it will become a cake. Remember to bake on high heat so that the exterior of the cake will cooked first and leaving the internal still watery.
